It seems like they're pretty set on calling us 'Hatchlings', so... hello, fellow Hatchlings, I'd like to play a game.

Two truths and a lie. I'll start.

  ② I've never watched All Dogs Go To Heaven all the way through.

Imagine magic. Now imagine the least fun you could possibly have with it, with angry Templars watching your every move. That just about sums up mages and the Circle of Magi for you. At least, that's how I imagine it probably is, I'm never allowed to their parties.

Excuse you, I would make an excellent... I can't finish that lie. I'd make a terrible priest. I'm not dedicated enough to stamping out fun wherever I find it.
I'm a writer. My finest moment was being described by a critic as "pulpy and smutty". You can't pay for that kind of publicity.

Well, there's something to be said for pulpy and smutty. Sounds like high praise to me.

And I've got to go with you, there. These Magi guys sound pretty uptight... did any of them wind up here? I'll hide the moonshine.

It's the fuel I need to keep going, praise like that. I considered writing some trashy interpersonal drama set in the Chantry in their honour. Secrets and backstabbing in religious circles over bake sales and secret blood rites.

I haven't seen any so far, so I think our good times are safe for now. I'm sure if any did arrive they'd make sure to let us know about it...

You know, there's probably a market for that sort of thing here. I'm willing to bet these people haven't had much time for the luxury of stories the last few years...

Though speaking entirely in earnest, I'd buy a book about backstabbing over bake sales.

And I'll keep an ear to the ground about our moonshine detractors. Can never be too careful.
