['Starbucks' means 'a Moby-Dick character' to Mops, and 'latte' is a flavor of gum. She knows about emojis, but the ones in use by the EMC are very different. This is a very confusing message and she doesn't want to look stupid by asking for context, never mind that it's quickly obvious many other people don't get it either. Mops can't really read people over text and it's harder to engage.

Doc's telling her she should probably not engage, given all that, and if she was smart she would listen. She picks a number randomly.]
