Oh my god.

Every day I find something new to hate about this place, but feeling old when I'm not even in high school yet may be the worst. 2801 is fantasy, but 2018 is too close. :(

This place being able to pull people from other times does explain a lot though, I guess...

I wouldn't worry about it too much, you're still the age you are now. No need to think about the future when we're on an alien planet in an alternate reality a few thousand light years away from Earth.

I don't have one. But let's say something like: what if it's magic? "Alternate dimensions" and every phrase like it are fanciful terms ascribing logic to something that is categorically a damn mess.

There's no sense in putting people from the 1400s or 2500s together like pieces from Frankenstein's puzzle. If this was intentional, and scientific, then whoever brought us all together thinking they'd accomplish anything worthwhile is an idiot and I curse them to death.

If reality is an onion, then why not pull from the same layer, you know?
