Two truths and a lie. I'll start.

anyone can do it, it's you for sure. I've had redwing run perimeter checks, and I figure I could use both drones to scan for food sources outside the camp. making footage like that accessible would be convenient. I just don't wanna blast everything I ever get to everyone who can access the network, y'know? and I don't want anyone to get a backdoor into my shit, either.

even with their last stand in wakanda, she imagines the relationship that great nation and a man descended from the african diaspora are probably not going to be all warm and fuzzy, all the time, but she can see king t'challa reaching out like that.
thing is, though.
t'challa isn't an avenger. he's got his duties, his kingdom, his people. she has no doubt that he will always answer the call when the world has need of him, because he's like steve in that way. but sam said six months.
six months isn't long enough for any sort of real power shift to happen behind the scenes in the avengers. it's not long enough to have built up enough of an alliance with wakanda in a time they'll be looking after their own returned citizens for them to do have any real time or resources to do a favor for sam wilson, who had been there only briefly and had died on their soil.
so, those six months either put sam in wakanda directly and bought him credit and goodwill enough there that they gave him an upgrade, as a treat.
or barnes called in a favor from his time there.
or, something else happened, that made it necessary for one of the other genius engineers in the world to step into stark's shoes.
she hasn't asked yet, how it ended. she only knows it did end. who'd we lose? she can hear the echo in steve's voice. but she isn't going to put that on sam. ）
Bragging rights. Shuri knows her stuff.

But goddamnit, it's Natasha, and he's not ashamed to admit that he cried his damn eyes out over the news of her the second he was alone to let that grief sink deep into him and grow roots he will feel for the rest of his life.
