Hey so

I've been screwing around with the network connecting the communications devices a little. I know there's no Spotify here, no internet, not a lot of music, which sucks. My MP3 player came here with me, so I figured maybe some people might like to have at least a few options. It might not necessarily be to everyone's taste, but it's better than nothing (probably).

I've uploaded the contents to the database, you should be able to access it or send/receive songs at any time.

Turns out they already had some music on there too, so you can poke around theirs and see if you find something you like more. I haven't gotten to go through it all, but at least some of it looks like 21st century Earth stuff.

Sidenote: you're welcome to criticize the contents of my MP3 player, just know that I've never felt shame in my life & I can and will sing all of these karaoke style to your face. IDK if you really want to live through that experience.

Are you from Earth? Or what's the name of your world?

I don't believe we've named the planet. My country is called Ravka. Are you from an Earth where there are other people here from Earth, or are you from a different Earth?

...honestly, I'm almost tempted to name my planet now. Maybe I'll call it -- Earth! Or perhaps Air?

It's
kind of weird, and kind of a long story, but the short answer is I'm the only one from my version of Earth, even though it's kind of the same Earth everybody else is familiar with

I think Air's a great name. Maybe Water?

The short story does beg the question - "kind of the same"? What do you mean by that?

Maybe. We certainly do have a lot of water. I suppose Fire would be too misleading.

Well, it's
The same planet for all of us. Mostly the same histories, the same culture, the same cities. Just different versions — for instance, mine got invaded by another species that pretty much took over the planet. That didn't happen to the other people from Earth. It's like the same story, but somebody wrote different endings.

If it doesn't have a name yet, you could always name it after yourself. First person to call it gets it, right?

Saints, that would be horrifying. 'Planet Nina' - no, no thank you.

Alright, planet Nina is out. Let's try out some other options. You have a favorite color? Favorite song? Favorite bird or animal or something? What do you like?

I like too many things to name a planet after them. No other planet names have anything so personal. When you think about it, the elements are rather universal.
