Hey so
I've been screwing around with the network connecting the communications devices a little. I know there's no Spotify here, no internet, not a lot of music, which sucks. My MP3 player came here with me, so I figured maybe some people might like to have at least a few options. It might not necessarily be to everyone's taste, but it's better than nothing (probably).
I've uploaded the contents to the database, you should be able to access it or send/receive songs at any time.
Turns out they already had some music on there too, so you can poke around theirs and see if you find something you like more. I haven't gotten to go through it all, but at least some of it looks like 21st century Earth stuff.
Sidenote: you're welcome to criticize the contents of my MP3 player, just know that I've never felt shame in my life & I can and will sing all of these karaoke style to your face. IDK if you really want to live through that experience.
( feel free to threadjack as you like )

Though if I'm making paper planes well into my late 30s here ... that'd be grim.
Anything else come with you that's fun?

well, a lot of stupid complicated stuff that only exists where I lived before, so. Kind of lemon juice in the paper cut that it showed up.

Are you familiar with robots?

I'm familiar with robotic automation like what's used in industrial manufacturing, and I'm familiar with artificial intelligence as a sentient entity in the early 2500s, but as far as I know I haven't actually experienced the two things combined to make what we call robots in the science fiction of my original early 2000s time.
So like, yes and no but maybe mostly yes?
wow ignore my typo in that tag
i have done that so many times my dude
Well, maybe a little a hobbyist too.

I'm mostly asking because I do have a robot here. If the time comes that it needs repairs or modifications ... it's a finicky machine, and I want care in handling it, but I'm not proficient enough to do that. In rather crude terms, I'm just the guinea pig for it.

What I'd like to do, if you don't mind, is get a look at it now while it's functional. If I can understand it while it's working, I have a better chance of fixing it if it breaks. If it's a particularly intricate or complex build, it'll probably take several days for me to map out. Maybe even a couple weeks.

You're free to come meet with me anytime. It's not like I'm busy, anyhow.

I spend most of my time in the engineering corps if you'd like to swing by there, otherwise if you've got a better place I can meet you.

I'll come and find you.

you never know
I'll be here :)
