so anyone else made trips to the adamant yet?

I was unable to hook my drone Redwing up to the ship to get a grab of the map on the adamant's systems, but I was able to have the sweet lil' thing develop a schematic from the entrypoint to the medical wing, along the route barnes and I took.

happy to share that with the class, to make anyone's supply trips to medical easier, but it got me thinking: if we pool a couple resources, old fashioned and technologically advanced, maybe we can compile a map together, bit by bit, exploration for exploration. should make future excursions into the adamant easier, and we could keep it up to date with structural damages, repairs, notes on what we find...

thoughts, ideas, input, life hacks, fun facts, deep secrets, motivational quotes or anything else y'all wanna share?

[ feel free to coordinate excursions, threadjack, let loose, have fun. ]

Our flan is typically 8-10 feet tall full grown. It's sort of a sentient pile of mud, except the mud is charged with some sort of powerful magick -- lightning, acid, et cetera. I didn't entirely pay attention in my magickal theory classes, but I believe they are magick that makes organic material sentient and able to attack. They're incredibly aggressive and tend to hunt in packs. I'm not sure if anyone has tried to eat one.

Yours sounds better.

Alas, I have not made it to the Adamant yet but it is my hope to get out there soon. Shelter would be excellent, and I've heard a few people have found luxury items in the wreckage. What I would not do for some actual tea.

And I would never turn down a race, so long as you're comfortable losing.

Please do. Quite honestly I haven't gone this long without an excursion in...damn near a decade.

Now you've got me curious; wings? I suppose you don't mean you grow them out of your back? Have your people fashioned machines that work like wings?

Coffee if you lose, tea if I lose.

[ He matches the joke, because the only tea they have access to right now is some pretty bland leaf-water of a local variety. ]

I will gladly hold you to it. Happy to give you a spin on mine -- not sure anyone else can operate her. Magick based.

Anyone can learn; most know some. Like anything you get expertise, but it's essentially just another skillset like mathematics or athletics with all the appropriate subcategories and specialties.

I'm curious if I can teach anyone here, or if they'd have had to learn it before. I know others use magick that works differently than mine.
