Hey everyone, this is John.

Ever since that new sinkhole opened yesterday, the number of those weird alien dinosaur moles that come from them has been growing.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I don't love the idea of killing them all just because they're in the way. I know they can't stay here, but there has to be somewhere else we can take them. I'm open to suggestions. I just think we should talk about it.

If any of you agree with me, can we maybe get a team together and try to corral them or something? I know Rémi wants to put them down, but I'd like to at least present an alternative.

I like the sedatives idea, although that would mean actually finding some. Ammunition's hard to come by as it is. But I like it, if we can find a way to do it.

If we had a place to herd them, I don't think it'd be hard to get them moving the right way. It's not like they wanted to get into our business.

ugh good point about the supplies.

anything we try is going to require help from the adamant's crew. we can't get everyone inside OR get supplies if rémi won't let go of his stupid extermination order.

and we can't convince him it's not necessary if we don't have supplies or proof that they'll just leave if they don't have anyone to run into 😤

I don't know. A plan with a chance of getting them gone that doesn't waste precious bullets might go down well with him

I don't know. We're not in charge here and ultimately it isn't going to be our call, but if we give him an option that's viable there's at least a chance he'll listen. Our default response to a problem shouldn't be to shoot it. Especially when it's alive.

okay, so we figure out the fastest route from the gymnasium to the edge of the base.

can we maybe reinforce the gymnasium to hold them until we have the streets clear?

You know they keep going where the food is. Maybe we could use that to help get them there and keep them calm.

you don't think that'll be a hard sell?
i bet they'd rather waste ammunition than food.

It might be.

Could be the lesser of two evils, though, I mean they're going after the food now. Small amounts to lure them away, it might be doable

Or we could just try and clear a path, and scare them towards it.

Yeah, I like that. Matthias has been trying to get them outside. I think if we could get them to a spot where it'd be safe for them to dig, somewhere that isn't in danger of collapse, they might stay away.

Now the only question is how to scare them safely. Maybe something loud? They already know guns are dangerous. Too bad we don't have any non-lethal ammunition. Rubber bullets, or something. I could see what I can make.

Yeah, sure. Depending on tools and resources, I can.

I'm spitballing here, but something like a small flashbang might work. Animals that live underground probably don't care about light, but they'd care about sounds and vibrations.

I'm gonna go out with Banshee and see if we can't scout a good location to lead them to. All this is for nothing if we don't have that. You want to join?
