Anyone good with computers? I could use some help with my homework.
( what follows is a string of programming code that, when broken down, doesn't actually do anything, but does spell out 'net neutrality, eat your heart out'. she's hilarious, thanks. )
( ooc note: natasha received mod-clearance to work on a private network for the pcs! if your character has any sort of savvy about such things, please reach out so we can collab! )

I wouldn't say it's exactly personal.
Trying to build up a private network for us Hatchlings. Figured it might be nice not to have everyone looking over our shoulders any time one of us wants to communicate.
private.
But right now, both of us are operating on the same page - neither side has more information than the other about escaping this world. Unless you want it for something more serious?

@balthier / second part private
[ Balthier has some inkling that this is programming, though he wouldn't call it that -- tech works a little differently in his world but they do have Mist and mechanical driven machines. He knows some of the people who specialize in non-magick or magick-hybrid use a sort of code to direct the machine, but it's basically magick to him, or something more arcane since he at least knows how to use magick. ]
[ Privately: ]
Does this have to do with the privacy of our conversations on this communicator?

Magic and programming do have a lot in common, surprisingly, but I'm not what you'd call magical.

I won't be of any use on the actual tech of this, but if I can help with logistics or resources, happy to do so.

[ Tina knows some basic programming (she did get the hidden message) but her attention span is probably not strong enough to be of any real help. Unless there are explosives involved. Or crumpets. ]

Not sure exactly what "net neutrality" is, but he's pretty handy with code.
