The thing that pulled me out of my world and into that future was a being people thought of as a god, basically. One stupid human overreached and tried to control it, but wound up breaking it apart.
I don't necessarily believe it was actually a god, but I do believe it was probably something more advanced than we've ever seen before. It could be whatever's pulling us here is kind of like that? Maybe a little bit less evolved considering we're coming out of eggs, but who knows?
